YOU WILL BE COMFORTED!Speaker: Sis. Stella Dhinakaran Gist: God will console you, when you keep your faith upon Him and seek Him diligently. The Lord will comfort you, when you seek Him diligently. He will never leave you nor forsake you.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”(Matthew 5:4)
Keep your faith upon the Lord, who calls you with His great love and guards you faithfully. Hold on to Him. He will never forsake you.
King David faced many tribulations in his life. But, he was comforted, when God promised him that He will make his son Solomon to build the temple. Thus, King Solomon finished building the house of the Lord. And he gathered the elders of Israel and all the people and said, “Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, who spoke with His mouth to my father David, and with His hand has fulfilled it” (1 Kings 8:15).
Today, you may also pass through many sufferings in your life. Do not worry, the Lord will fulfill His promises by His deeds in your life. He will guide and bless you in all your ways. He has given you His word and revealed it through His servants and prophets.
When my husband Bro.Dhinakaran was a young man, his father desired to make him an Engineer. One day, he met the Principal of an Engineering college and discussed about his admission. He went through his certificates and informed him to pay the fees the next day and get admitted. His father was glad to hear about it.
Next day, after undergoing many difficulties he managed to bring his fees. Unfortunately, the Principal, who promised him for admission, denied it. But God did not forsake him. In His time God fulfilled all the promises in his life.
Dear friend, you may also come across the same situation, do not be disheartened. The Lord will surely comfort you by fulfilling His promises in your life. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Prayer:
Loving Lord Jesus Christ,
You are the same, yesterday, today and forever. Help me to seek You even during my troubled times. Listen to my prayer and remember my tears. Let me keep my faith upon You. Make me glad according to the days I have seen sorrow and fulfill the promises that you have given to me. I cast my burden at Your feet knowing that You alone care for me. In Your immense love, grace and mercy perform mighty miracles in my life today.
All glory, honour and praises belong to You alone.
