STEADFAST FAITH Speaker: Dr. Paul Dhinakaran Gist: God will answer all your prayers, when you ask Him in strong faith. The Lord is eagerly waiting to fulfill all your wants, when you ask Him in strong faith.
He is always near you to answer all your prayers. Cry unto Him everyday, so that your wishes are fulfilled.
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7)
“Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full.” (John 16:24)
The above Bible verses say that when you ask the Lord in strong faith, He listens and answers your prayer according to your heart’s desire. “And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive” (Matthew 21:22).
Many years ago a young boy had strong faith in his prayer. He made up his mind and said to himself, “If the Lord answers my prayer, let me ask Him.” He wrote a letter saying, “Dear God, I need one hundred rupees. Kindly send the money to the address given below.” He elaborately stated all his wishes and dropped it in the church offertory box. When the church members read the letter, they had compassion for this young boy. They wanted to honour the strong faith which they found within him. So, they sent the money to him.
A few days later, the young boy received a reply letter from the church, in which he found a fifty rupee note attached to the letter. This made him sad and He became upset.
Days passed, the same boy wrote another letter saying, “Lord, I asked for one hundred rupees. But, you have sent only fifty rupees. May be, you have sent one hundred rupees. As you sent the money through the church, the members must have taken the fifty rupees. Hereafter, please send the money to me directly to my address.”
The young boy wrote the letter with a strong belief that the Lord would listen to his prayer and would answer him in full measure as he had requested.
Dear friend, in the same way, the compassionate Lord is eagerly waiting to fulfill all your wants. All you have to do is to ask Him in strong faith that you will receive. Surely He will answer all your prayers.
Prayer:
Almighty God,
Today I ask You in strong faith that You will surely answer all my prayers. Grant me Your divine grace to place you always first in my life. Guide me so that I may not lose my faith at any circumstances. In Your immense mercy bless me this day.
In Jesus’ matchless name, I pray.
