STRENGTHENED SOULSpeaker: Sis. Stella Dhinakaran Gist: Today marks the end of all your misery. Be of good cheer! If you trust in the Lord He will be your refuge in times of trouble (Psalm 9:9-10). In my life, I have faced many problems. However, in all such situations, I firmly clung to the Lord. Always I looked at Him for my help. Many times my husband was nigh unto death. Doctors kept saying, “He will survive for a few months or days only.”
At such unbearable moments, I would rush to my heavenly Father. I used to cry out. “Lord! I only know You. Please bring me out of this dreadful situation.” So saying, I would cling to Him. The Lord answered my prayers. The Lord brought my husband out of all these problems. The doctors still keep wondering as to how this had happened.
The Lord who performed this miracle for me, will do the same for you today. Just put your trust in the Lord. Never believe in the words of a mortal man. When you have this Almighty God as your Father, He will bring you out of all your problems.
Do you feel neglected, lonely, or a sense of losing everything? Look unto God. This is what David the Psalmist did. He was afflicted many times and had to pass through many problems. His own son and king Saul were against him. They wanted to destroy him. What did David do? He strengthened himself in the Lord. (1 Samuel 30:6) Just put your trust in the Lord and do not be worried.
Do you say you have no job? Or is your promotion being postponed? Don’t look to the people, but look unto God. What blessings to you want? Are you being afflicted with the health problems like cancer, asthma or any other dreadful diseases in your body? Do not be worried. Just look to God in prayer. When you look unto Him, your soul will be strengthened. My God is alive. He is a living God who is sufficient for me. He will take care of me. In this way you will be strengthened in the Lord.
Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. (Psalms 34:19)
Consider that today marks the end of all your misery. Be of good cheer!
These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world (John 16:33).
This is how David strengthened himself in the Lord. Do not be worried about the fact that you do not have a job or that you are not yet blessed with the gift of a child. Today the God of David is here who is the Lord of all lords and the Almighty God. He will help you and that is the reason as to why you have visited this website.

Loving Lord,
You are a great God watching the life of Your children. Lord grant peace, joy and happiness in my life. Let your divine love flow through my life. Without You Lord, I can do nothing. Give me Your grace that I may carry out everything with Your help. Please touch me. Let Your divine power flow through me.
