CHRIST – THE CARETAKERSpeaker: Sis. Evangeline Paul Dhinakaran Gist: My dear Friend! The Lord looks at your heart. You have landed on this website today to know more about the heavenly Father who removes fear and becomes your caretaker. Today the world is filled with fear.
Where does fear come from? Fear is on every side. (Jeremiah 6:25)
Fear comes from all directions. What is the work of the evil one?
The evil one comes to steal, kill, destroy and say lies (John 10:10). He is the one who puts fear in your heart. We face many struggles in life and fear sets in. Perhaps today you have visited this website with many problems confronting you. In fear you may say, “Will God ever bless me? Will I get a good job, be healed of my sickness or be blessed with a suitable life partner”
My dear Friend! God is here. The Lord looks at your heart.
For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart (1 Samuel 16:7).
Lincoln, a former President of United States decided on personally wishing his subjects. Therefore, he walked through the streets and met them. A huge crowd thronged on either side of the streets. A lowly, lean, lanky lad who looked very delicate stood there. People disliked his presence. Fear filled his heart as to what his future would be. He desired to meet the President personally but his attempts to get closer in the crowd were futile. The people kept pushing those who were weak and went nearer to the President. The President passed by. He looked straight at that small fellow. “What do you want me to do for you?” politely he asked. The little lad, just about fifteen year old, was stuned. Repeatedly the President asked him, “What do you want?” The little boy replied, “I have been discharged from the hospital just now. Right away, I came to meet you.” Tears moistened the heart of the President. “Where do you stay?” he enquired. “I have no shelter” he responded. Once again the President asked, “Where is your father?” With tears welling his eyes he said, “I have no father. He died while serving the army.” Finally the President asked, “Where is your mother?” “Oh! She is no more and there is none to love me in this world.” That little boy wept. Immediately the President wrote a note. “Please take care of this boy.” He handed it and the officer who received this note took action on it. The little fellow forever remained faithful to the President for his genuine gesture.
My dear Friend, people may forsake you looking at your appearance but always remember that your heavenly Father looks at your heart.
But You, O Lord, are a God full of compassion, and gracious, Longsuffering and abundant in mercy and truth (Psalms 86:15)
It is indeed a great privilege that you have such a Wonderful Heavenly Father.
Prayer:
Almighty God,
Forsaken by all, I come to You my Master. When I was glad many people surrounded me. Now that I am facing problems, everyone has deserted me. I am left alone to face the battle. Dear Lord! Please take away all the worries and fears that torment my heart. I confess that You grant anything asked in the powerful name of Your beloved Son.
In Jesus’ name I pray.
Amen. |
