FRIEND OF GODSpeaker: Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran Gist: If you believe, then Abraham’s blessings would become yours today. Today, all the blessings that Abraham received shall become your blessings.
God looks at you who are visiting this website very earnestly and says, “I would pour My blessings upon you who are yearning for it. Your offspring and also your descendants will be blessed” (Isaiah 44:3). If a person yearns for God’s blessings, his descendants and their descendants, from generation to generation receive God’s blessings.
My precious Friend, there is a good news for you today. God is one who blesses you. The Bible says He is willing to pour out His blessings upon the individual person who is thirsty for it. There is one man who really sought after God and whose life fits exactly to the verse told above, - his name is Abraham.
Abraham was called the friend of God. This is because he never spent time with his worldly friends but turned his heart towards searching for the true God. Abraham has lived and gone, but what about you today?
Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham. (Galatians 3:7 ) I you believe in the God of Abraham, you then become His darling child. So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham. Galatians 3:9
God is not partial and never shows favoritism. If you would believe, then all the blessings bestowed upon Abraham would become your blessings today. This is what the Bible says. The God of Abraham is your God. Isn’t that the greatest privilege for you?
Today you are a blessed person because you are the child of Abraham. You should be able to see God and God must appear before you. God has to provide you with all the material blessings. He has to build your family, if you do not have a child, He has to bless you with the gift of a child. He alone is able to bless your descendants today. Therefore, cheer up!
Cling on to the God of Abraham. God dislikes any obstacle that prevents you from receiving His blessings. He does not want anyone to throw curses upon you. The Almighty God came in the form of flesh, as a man. (Galatians 3:13; 1 Timothy 3:16; 1 John 3:8; Matthew 1:23; Romans 9:5) For what reason did He take the form of a man? The curses called sin, financial problems, sinful addictions, pain and agony of every individual and families were laid upon Him.
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree"). Jesus Christ became a curse for you (Galatians 3:13). Today, there is nothing between you and God because He has laid all the curses upon Himself and has transformed them into blessings for you. This is good news for you. Are you a friend of God? Analyze today and be blessed.
Prayer:
Loving Lord,
Help me to be Your friend just like how Abraham lived. Give me the grace to walk and talk with You always. Keep me away from wasting my precious time with worldly friends who indulge in worthless things. Bestow upon my descendants and me the blessings that You granted to Abraham. Prosper all my efforts today and make me glad.
All praises, honour and glory belongs to You alone.
