How will God protect you?
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalms 91:1)
He will protect your family if you take refuge in Him. King David says, “God is my refuge and my fortress”. In the same way, Martha also invited the Lord to her house and kept it open for Him to enter and dwell in (Luke 10:38). God also accepted her invitation, readily came and blessed her house. Not only that, He raised her brother from the dead after four days. He is such a loving God. When Lazarus died, He also cried along with his sisters Mary and Martha. In the same manner, God loves you. If you are shedding tears because of any problem, He would also sheds tears along with you – His child.
I had also gone through the path of agony. Before entering into the ministry, I had no problem and was very happy. I would read the Bible and pray but did not diligently seek the Lord. However, after my marriage, I saw the prayerful life of my God-given father, mother and husband. When they prayed, God filled them with the Holy Spirit and they worshipped God with much delight and joy clapping their hands. I saw all their actions and also desired to worship the Lord in such a manner.
When I came closer to the Lord, tragedy struck my life one after another. My mother – the one who loved and brought me into his fold, passed away. Within one year I lost my elder brother who was only twenty-four years old. He had tumour. I was much shattered. At this juncture, I asked the Lord to fill me with the anointing of the Holy Spirit because I knew that only the Comforter could comfort me.
In one meeting, the Lord blessed me with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. God also promised to grant me the gifts of the Holy Spirit. I started preaching the word of God. Only after the times of trouble, when I clung firmly to the feet of the Lord did He immensely bless me. Through me God started blessing young and the old. People started writing how they received blessing from the hands of the Lord. I used to offer just a simple prayer but the Lord Jesus Christ blessed them abundantly. This is possible only through the power of the Holy Spirit. I also lost my father who loved me very much. I cried out to the Lord, “Why did this happen to me?” Then the Lord granted me the anointing of the Holy Spirit in a greater measure. God started using me mightily for His glory. Many were filled with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Not only that, many healing miracles took place. Had I not received the Holy Spirit I would not be writing this message to you. The Holy Spirit protected me. The Almighty God kept me under His shadow.
If you receive the anointing of the Holy Spirit then the Lord will also bless you abundantly. Just say, “Lord! You are my Refuge and my Fortress.”
Prayer
Almighty God,
I praise and thank You for keeping me under the divine protection of Your mighty wings. Please grant me the anointing of the Holy Spirit and bless me abundantly this day so that I may be blessed person and a blessing to all those who encounter me this day.
