HEAVENLY HAPPINESSSpeaker: Sis. Stella Dhinakaran Gist: The word of God is granting you the divine peace, heavenly joy and happiness right now. Rejoice, be glad and say, “Today the Lord grants His salvation and redeems me.”
"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me” (Galatians 2:20).
The above words are those of a man named Saul who became Paul after having an encounter with the Lord Jesus on his way to Damascus.
The Lord asked him, "Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads."
My dear Friend! Perhaps are you leading a sinful life today? Is your inner man like that of Saul? Jesus Christ is telling you, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”
Would your response be the same as that of Saul’s? What did he say? He said, "Lord, what do You want me to do?" The Lord lovingly gave him a higher and unique calling in performing His ministry. His life turned topsy-turvy for the better and the same thing would happen to you. God will transform the hard-heartedness and bless you with a brand new heart full of love and compassion.
Just whisper this prayer, “Loving Lord, You who changed Saul into Paul and entrusted him with a prominent role in Your ministry, please make me an instrument and ambassador carrying Your good news to the world.”
Ask the Lord to transform your family. The Bible says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
But the salvation of the righteous is from the Lord. (Psalms 37:39).
Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation. (Psalms 62:1). Salvation is only from and through the Lord Jesus Christ.
Having been made righteous, you are blessed with gladness.
“And it will be said in that day: "Behold, this is our God; We have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is the Lord; We have waited for Him; We will be glad and rejoice in His salvation." (Isaiah 25:9)
But I have trusted in Your mercy; My heart shall rejoice in Your salvation. (Psalms 13:5)
Therefore with joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. (Isaiah 12:3).
The word of God is granting you the divine peace, heavenly joy and happiness right now. Believe and claim it from the Lord.
Prayer
Almighty God,
Cleanse me with the blood of Your beloved Son Jesus Christ, make me a righteous person and grant me the gladness, joy and divine happiness that You desire Your children to possess. Help me to say like Paul, “Lord, what do You want me to do?" and strengthen me to fulfill Your plan in my life today.
