SUCCESS THROUGH THE SPIRIT OF GODSpeaker: Dr. Paul Dhinakaran Gist: The Holy Spirit is eager to fight the battle for you. We are in the last days and the promise of our Lord, 'I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your young men shall see visions, Your old men shall dream dreams' (Acts 2:17) will come to pass at any moment. Today is the day of the Holy Spirit.
There is a reason for God to grant us the anointing of the Holy Spirit. His desire is that, “Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers” (3 John 2).
My dear Friend, God granted me the anointing of the Holy Spirit and helped me in my academics. The same unchanging Lord will help you.
My friends did lead me away from the right path saying, “Hey! This is not the time to follow the footsteps of your father. If you do so, you would turn up landing as a hermit. (sanyasi). You are just eighteen! Enjoy the world which God has created for you.”
Of course, I did lose track and flunked in my subjects. God in His immense mercy graciously brought me back to track through the tears of my parents particularly through the fast and prayers of my mother. My father is a person full of love and compassion. However, he did not spare the rod with me when it came to my studies. My mother on the other hand said, “There is no point in punishing and scolding this fellow, let us turn our focus on the Lord to set him right. Let’s cry with the power of the Holy Spirit” Truly the Lord answered their cries and transformed me who was like Saul into Paul. God would perform the same miracle in the lives of your children.
Do not fret and fume over the cares and concerns of this life but take everything to the Lord in prayer. The Holy Spirit is eager to fight the battle for you. Therefore, do not be wasting your time in trying to fight a battle when you have the Almighty God who is willing to do it for you. Get filled with the anointing and power of the Holy Spirit. Then you don’t have to fight with your family problems, the Lord will do it for you.
The Lord transformed and filled me with the Holy Spirit. Thereupon after receiving the my Best Friend – the Holy Spirit my worldly friends left me. I had twelve subjects to complete for receiving my bachelor’s degree in Science (Physics). I put a chair close to me and invited the Holy Spirit to be by my side and help me with the studies. The Holy Spirit is a person, reality and Friend who desires to abide with you in your everyday life.
I would request, “Holy Spirit, please put these subject matters into my head” since I have not attended the classes when the subjects were being taken. According to the verse, “In God are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge” (Colossians 2:3) the Holy Spirit transferred everything into my mind. I would rejoice, say, “Thank you Holy Spirit” worship for about five minutes and then turn to the next page.
During the convocation, in the same college, amazingly I received a gold medal and it is truly the Lord’s doing. My friends had entered into the engineering and medical fields. Now that I am carrying the Lord Jesus Christ who is the King of kings in my heart it is the desire that His children should also be held high in the secular world. That is the faith we have and God is willing to lift us up provided we believe. Great are the plan and purposes of God for you.
"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways," says the LORD. (Isaiah 55:8) Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out! (Romans 11:33).
God has a plan for you and therefore grants you the power of the Holy Spirit to discern what He has in store for you. The Holy Spirit is the person who translates your little mind to have the thoughts, plans of God and the mind of Christ. When you know His plan then you shall prosper.
It is the Holy Spirit Who gave me the necessary understanding and enabled me to get degrees after degrees. I went on to get my MBA degree followed by the PhD in advertising the first of its kind in the secular realm in the University of Chennai in India. Be filled with the anointing of the Holy Spirit and He will perform miracles for you.

Loving Lord,
I praise and thank You for Your grace and mercies that are new every morning. Make known Your plans concerning me through the power of the Holy Spirit so that I may prosper and lead a life as a testimony for Your glory in this earth. Help me to challenge the cares and concerns of this life by saying that You are there to fight the battle for me. In Jesus’ name I pray.
