EXACTLY AS TOLDSpeaker: Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran Gist: Have you ever received a prophecy or claimed a promise verse? It will come to pass. I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old (Psalms 78:2) The Lord promised that He would speak the greatest spiritual truths to the people through parables while He takes the form of a man.
Exactly as He had promised, God revealed the spiritual truths through parables while He lived on this planet earth. “All these things Jesus spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them” (Matthew 13:34).
My dear Friend, Jesus said, "Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill. (Matthew 5:17). God wanted to fulfill even a small prophecy through a parable. Therefore, Jesus spoke only through prophecy.
Perhaps you have received a prophecy from a servant of God or are claiming a particular promise verse that has touched you while reading the Bible to come true in your life. It may look as if years are devouring months and months are devouring days but be assured of one important thing and that is the word of God will surely be fulfilled in your life.
I knew about our Lord Jesus Christ while still young and determined to declare about the divine peace that Jesus Christ gave to me that He offers freely to all. Yes about the same divine peace that I had received when I was about to throw myself before an express train thereby eventually commit an act of suicide.
I worked for a bank and simultaneously used to do street preaching on Sundays in those days. People used to appreciate my act. Some people offered delicious snacks and others gave soda. I was happy and contented with this simple street preaching.
Then an incident happened in my life. In a certain church, many people went to receive personal prayers from an illiterate woman who was a servant of God. Since most of my friends went to receive her blessings, I also followed suit rather very reluctantly. She looked at me and then placed her hands upon me. The anointing of the Holy Spirit came mightily upon her and she prophesied. God spoke through her tongue saying, “My Son! You are happy and content with this simple street preaching. That is not My aim. I am going to take you around the world where millions of people will find Me through you” God spoke through her tongue. I trembled in my shoes.
My dear Friend, three years passed by after the uttering of these words. Then one day, the Lord filled me with the mighty anointing of the Holy Spirit and I met Jesus Christ face to face. He spoke to me for three full hours. My life completely changed topsy-turvy. Every word uttered through the unction of the Holy Spirit by that illiterate woman – a servant of God is being fulfilled in my life by God.
I am serving the Lord till this moment. It will be the same with you. Have you ever received a prophecy or claimed a promise verse? It will come to pass and be fulfilled in your life exactly as you have been told.

Loving Lord,
I submit my life into Your loving and caring hands praying that Your plan and purpose for my life on this earth may come to pass. Help me to cling firmly to the promises You have assured and witness it happening in my life. Strengthen my frame, bless me this day, keep me as a well watered garden as springs with unfailing waters under Your protection. In Jesus’ name I pray.
