BELIEVE AND BE BLESSEDSpeaker: Sis. Stella Dhinakaran Gist: Believe and God will be your Refuge. What happens when you put your complete trust in the Lord Jesus Christ?
“Oh, how great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those who fear You, Which You have prepared for those who trust in You In the presence of the sons of men!” (Psalms 31:19).
Today God will fill you with His goodness. Perhaps you may be battling with financial difficulties having debts catching you by your throat. Remember the Lord is able to deliver you from such crisis. He says, “Is there anything too hard for Me?” Nothing is hard for the Lord. He is the One who calls those things which do not exist as though they did exist. Such is the power of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Yes everything is possible with our Lord.
The Psalmist, king David writes, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. The earth is the Lord's, and all its fullness, the world and those who dwell therein” (Psalms 23:6).
Believe and be blessed. If you believe you will see the glory of God. How is this possible? David says, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want” (Psalms 23:1).
I have set the Lord always before me; because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. (Psalms 16:8) Having set the Lord before him, the Psalmist says he fears no evil. (Psalms 23:4).
These days many people fear and say, “Someone has done witchcraft against us. We have lost the peace of mind, strength in the body, money and everything that we once had.” The word of God says that if you place your total trust in Him during troubled times you will fear no evil because the Lord will be with you always. He is the Lord of all comforts who supplies all our needs. (Philippians 4:19).
Believe and He will be your Refuge. After my marriage with Bro. Dhinakaran besides being a happiest person, I had had to face many problems one after another. I continued without child for three years and then had a miscarriage. Following that I gave birth to a still born child and became much worried. In the midst of the fear “whether I would have a child or not” lurking in my heart, I focused my eyes upon the Lord. Likewise believe in the Lord and be blessed abundantly.
Prayer
Almighty God,
I humble myself at Your feet and confess that You are the Rock of my salvation, my bulwark – never failing, my redeemer, my refuge and my strength. Give me the grace to trust in Your unfailing mercies and be abundantly blessed this day.
In Jesus’ name I pray.
