The signs of God's presenceSpeaker: Sis. Stella Dhinakaran Gist: Open your heart and invite Jesus Christ, He will come and abide with you. And the sins and curses that are disturbing you would spontaneously flee from you. He will make you a holy person. "My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest" (Exodus 33:14). We are going to meditate upon the signs of God's presence. It's a great blessing to have the Almighty God beside you.
"The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands". (Psalm 138:8). He will do everything concerning you, my dear friend.
"I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing" (John 15:5). As the vine abides in the tree, we have to be united with the loving Lord Jesus Christ.
"Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me" (John 15:4).
The Lord wants to abide with you. He is knocking at your door. He wants to come into your life and family. If you could allow Him, He will come and enter into your heart and He will be a Father to you. It's marvelous to have Jesus Christ in your family.
Today you have come to give your heart to the Lord Jesus Christ. You might have committed a lot of sins in your life and may be saying that you are unable to come out of it. But, when you open your heart and invite Jesus Christ, He will come and abide with you. And the sins and curses that are disturbing you would spontaneously flee from you. He will make you a holy person. He will completely change your life.
"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God" (John 1:12,13).
When God comes into your heart, He becomes your Father.
"I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people. I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty" (2 Corinthians 6:16,18).
We read in the Bible about a woman named, Lydia who was a seller of purple from the city of Thyatira. The Lord opened her heart to heed the things spoken by Paul. She and her household were baptized" (Acts 16:14,15). The Lord was waiting for the time to enter the heart of Lydia. When she opened her heart, the Lord went inside gladly and saved her life. And through her, all her family members were saved and baptized. Likewise, the Lord will give you the same blessing to you and your household, my dear friend.
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household." (Acts 16:31). The Lord is much concerned to come into your life and bless you bountifully. If you believe, you will see the glory of God.
Prayer
Loving Lord,
I praise and thank you because you are so eager to come into my heart and make me a holy person. Please come into my heart and wash away all my sins. Let Your presence go before me and make all the crooked paths straight. Fill me and my family members with Your everlasting divine peace. Help me to abide in you always. Bless me this day with Your surest blessings. All glory, honour and praises belong to You.
