FREEDOM FROM SINSpeaker: Dr. Paul Dhinakaran Gist: Let not your heart be troubled. Jesus loves you and He wants to set you free. Trust Him to wipe away all your tears. Today the Lord says that He is going to give you freedom from your sins. The Bible says in John 8: 36, Jesus is the One who sets us free. He is one who gives us freedom from the bondages of this world and helps us to enjoy life on this earth.
When India got independence, the leaders of the nations met the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi and asked, "What do you want us to do? How do you want us to rule the nation? How do you want us to write the Indian constitution?" Mahatma simply said one thing, "Now that India has got independence, being a free nation please see to it that by using this freedom which is won with great sacrifice that the tears of every Indian is wiped away."
My beloved friend, much more is the heart of your Heavenly Father concerning you for He is your Creator. He lovingly says, "Let Me deliver My children, wipe away their tears and set them free". Jesus Christ is waiting to set you free from all the bondages in which you are bound. Let not your heart be troubled.
Jesus loves you and He wants to set you free. Trust Him to wipe away all your tears. Today the Lord says that He is going to give you freedom from your sins. If you read Matthew 1:21, "And He shall be called Jesus, for He shall save His people from their sins." Yes God came down in the form of a man named Jesus to save His people from their sins. To give them freedom from sins and wipe away every tear caused by sin and sinful pleasures. Today that Jesus is alive.
Perhaps you are crying that you are unable to come out of your sins. Sin is tormenting my life. Jesus says, "Don't be afraid. I will give you freedom from your sins. I will take up that disease on Myself. I will not condemn you. I will remove your sins, wipe away your tears and grant you freedom. Let not your heart be troubled. Without your knowledge even as Jesus enters your heart right now you will find Him giving you freedom from sin. Expect great things from God.
Prayer
Loving Lord,
I praise You because You alone can set me free from all the bondages of this world. Wash, sanctify and justify me into a righteous person. Wipe all my tears and keep me under the protection of Your mighty wings. Keep me away from the lust of eyes, lust of the flesh and the pride of life. Guide and guard me.
All praises belong to You alone. In Jesus' name I pray.
