WOUNDS WITHOUT CAUSESpeaker: Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran Gist: Jesus Christ is marvellous. Do not be discouraged. Whatever may be your disease whether small or big infirmity God can heal it for you. The Bible speaks about wounds without cause. The Scripture says in Proverb 23:29,30 "Who has woe? Who has sorrow? Who has contentions? Who has complaints? Who has wounds without cause? Who has redness of eyes? Those who linger long at the wine, those who go in search of mixed wine." Now you can also add the word 'drug' because the whole world is under the grip of drugs.
A Pastor told the following incident during a Sunday Church service. There lived a highly intellectual and successful young man. Unfortunately someone had introduced him to the usage of drugs. Now as they call, one day he was very high on drugs. Even without his knowledge, he suddenly looked at his own eyes in a mirror and felt that they were also looking at him. He thought those eyes were the eyes of someone else. He tried to pluck those eyes by touching the glass. Unaware of his doing, he put his hands upon his own eyes and pulled out both the eyes. Then he screamed, "It is dark. Somebody please help me." Everyone came running and the doctor wept over him saying, "Son, what have you done? Nobody can cure your eyes. Those wounds are going to remain permanently. What have you done" Wounds without cause.
If you read Mark 5:5, there you find a man possessed with more than two thousand demonic powers. The Bible says that nobody could control him. He lived in mountains or tombs and used stones for cutting his body. Thus he kept wounding his own body not knowing what he was doing. Thank God, Jesus Christ went and delivered him.
The Bible says in Matthew 8:17, "He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses." He also bore our diseases. My mother was a very affectionate person and I was her only son. Suddenly she began to have fits and seizures. Many doctors and numerous experts examined her thoroughly but could not find the cause for her illness. Whenever the fits attacked her, she would scream which used to be an unearthly sound. Anyone having a weak heart who happened to witness this scene would die on the spot. Truly it was gruesome. You can hear my mother's cry from quite a far distance. At that time, she would bite her tongue and blood would flow like water. With great difficulty we used to put some iron rods open up the jaw and leave the tongue. Everyday this happened. Sometimes this would even occur several times a day and we were in tears. We consulted many doctors and visited so many people for personal prayers. One day, on account of this seizure she bit the tongue once again and blood was gushing out. There was a small calendar with the picture of Jesus Christ hanging on the Cross. My father out of disgust looked at this picture and said, "Lord Jesus, You have shed so much of blood for the whole world, should my wife also shed blood? Please help!" On that day the problem stopped once for all. Hallelujah. Jesus Christ is marvellous. Do not be discouraged. Whatever may be your disease whether small or big infirmity God can heal it for you.

Our Father in Heaven
I praise and thank You because You alone are our Redeemer and our Deliverer. I request You to heal me by Your stripes and also specially heal the wounds that have occurred without a cause. Increase my faith in You and grant me the grace to receive Your divine healing touch in my mind, body and soul. I confess that those things which are impossible for men is possible with You.
