REWARDEDSpeaker: Sis. Stella Dhinakaran Gist: This is the statement that you and I need to get from our Lord. "Now that you have come under My wings, surely I will bless you abundantly". In Ruth 2:3, Ruth says to her mother-in-law, " "Please let me go to the field, and glean heads of grain after him in whose sight I may find favor." When she went out the Lord made her go to the field of a certain man named Boaz who was related to Naomi's husband. The Lord allowed and made a way for Ruth to go to that particular field. Boaz being the owner of the field, he closely watched Ruth. And he said, "My daughter, you can come and work along with my workers. You can eat, drink water and continue to gather grains here." Not only that he also told her one more important thing. If you read Ruth 2:12, "The Lord repay your work, and a full reward be given you by the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge."
This is indeed a wonderful testimony from the mouth of Boaz. This is the statement that you and I need to get from our Lord. "Now that you have come under My wings, surely I will bless you abundantly". Perhaps you may be praying for a very long time for the gift of a child, a good job or to overcome your financial stringencies. Whatever is your want, the Lord is waiting to bless you today.
Early in the morning meet the Almighty God together as husband and as a wife. This is what we have been doing for the past so many years. We make it a point never to miss this while travelling in a train or a plane. During prayer time we gather together and thank the Lord for all that He has given us. We meet Him and pour out our heart concerning all the difficulties to be faced on that day. In the evening, we thank Him from the bottom of our heart after witnessing the manifestation of His glory in all our dealings. It is such a joy to be in the presence of the Lord always. We gather in the morning and in the evening and whenever it is possible. You also should give first priority for meeting God for it is your duty to do so.
You should delight in meeting your Father everyday. I honour Bro. Dhinakaran first for being a servant of God even though he is my husband. Normally after the day's work and after our family prayer at night immediately I go to sleep. But my husband even though he returns home late working very hard, after our family prayer he would still spend time personally with God in a kneeling posture for hours together. He cries unto God for everything whether it is concerning small or big issues. That is the reason why the Lord has entrusted the mission of the Jesus Calls Ministry into our hands. So many years have passed by but Bro. Dhinakaran has not stopped looking unto the Lord for everything whether it is personal, family, relating to Karunya College, pertaining to the Jesus Calls Ministry or in praying for the problems of others to be solved even though his legs are very weak physically. Many people write to us explaining their problems. We gather such letters and look unto the Lord in prayer. The Lord answers and then the replies are being sent. He is a man who spends most of his time in prayer. What about you? Don't you desire to be used and blessed by the Lord? God wants to give you all the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit and use you individually and as a family.
Prayer
Almighty God,
I praise You because You are a God who rewards those who come as a refuge under Your mighty wings. Help me to give first priority to meet You early in the morning and delight in Your presence. Bless me with all the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit and use me for the manifestation of Your glory.
