FRUIT YIELDING TREE Speaker: Sis. Stella Dhinakaran Gist: I faced many trials, tribulations and also experienced a lot of sorrow and suffering. However, the Lord stood by me. He will not forsake you also. The Lord is going to change your family into a fruit-yielding tree. The Bible says, "that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God." (Colossians 1:10).
How is your family and your personal life? Are you a fruit-yielding tree? Our loving Lord lived a fruitful life while He sojourned on this earth. The Scripture says, "God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him". (Acts 10:38). It is His will that you also become a fruit-yielding tree.
"I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing." (John 15:5). When you have communion with Him, He helps you to become His disciple, enables you to do good deeds and above all bear bountiful fruits.
The Lord will fill you with the fruit of the spirit as found in Galatians 5:22,23, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law." According to this verse, "But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away." (1 Corinthians 13:10) the Lord will fill you with His goodness and use you as a mighty instrument for His glory. Therefore, plead unto the Lord saying, "Please anoint me even as You were anointed and help me to be a fragrance spreading Christian."
"I will accept you as a sweet aroma when I bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you have been scattered; and I will be hallowed in you before the Gentiles." (Ezekiel 20:41; 2 Corinthians 2:14,15) Everyday getting anointed by the power of the Holy Spirit is a wonderful experience. It is told that, "My cup runs over" in Psalms 23. The Scripture says, ".... to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting." Let us take time to ponder whether we are quarrelsome or fighting with family members, complaining person and without love towards our dear ones.
God has called us to be fruit yielding tree and live a life pleasing to the Lord. Thus far, forget your life of the past and from today start a new life in the Lord. Jesus Christ says, "I and My Father are one." (John 10:30). You also ought to enjoy such a similar experience in Christ.
Since the sixteenth year of my life, I began to walk close with God and has never swerved from experiencing His affection at all times. I faced many trials, tribulations, and also experienced untold sorrow and suffering. However, the Lord stood by me. He will not forsake you also. The Lord is waiting to bless you for He delights in you. Your family will prosper. Ask the Lord to bless you and lead a blessed life.
Prayer
Loving Lord,
I praise and thank You Lord for You alone can transform my life into a fruit-yielding tree. Fill me with the fruit of the Spirit and pour Your divine love into my heart. Guide me to walk in the path of righteousness, which fully pleases You. Make me fruitful this day in every good work and help me increase in the knowledge of You.
In Jesus' name I pray.
Amen |
