THE LORD DELIGHTS IN YOU

Speaker: Sis. Stella Dhinakaran

Gist: God will make all the crooked things in your life straight according to Isaiah 45:2. He will fight the battle on your behalf because He delights in you. Therefore, do not be troubled. Cast all your cares upon Him.

The last portion of Isaiah 62:4 says, "For the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married." This is a promise verse for you. Claim this promise for you today. Isn't it glad to know that God delights in you and that your land shall be married. Your family will prosper.

These days many families are in tears. Tears owing to irresponsible family heads, and also because of mothers and children who have no love. However, the Lord says, your land and your family shall be built.

The Bible says in Psalm 149:4, "The LORD takes pleasure in His people." When you love and place your trust in Him surely He will delight in you and your family. The Lord will shower His perfect love on you throughout this year and take control of all your ways. It is your duty to surrender yourself into His loving hands. If you plan and decide about acting on your own will, then God will leave you to your whims and fancies.

On the contrary, if you are a child of God He will make all the crooked things in your life straight according to Isaiah 45:2. He will fight the battle on your behalf because He delights in you. Therefore, do not be troubled. Cast all your cares upon Him.

My dearly beloved! Perhaps you are very poor, in such a state wherein you do not know where from your next meal would come. Despite the problems you are now facing, remember the Lord always delights in you and your family. He will surely see you through.

In Luke chapter 19 verses 1-10, a certain man named Zacchaeus came in search of Jesus Christ. The Lord delighted in him and offered to visit his house. People who stood beside called him a sinner. Likewise, many may find faults in you too. Yet the Lord looked at his heart and says, "My son has come in search of me." He entered his house and said, "Today salvation has come to this house." Yes, blessings and peace overflowed. Blessings beyond your understanding and comprehension will begin to flow says the Lord.

In Acts chapter 10, we read about a certain man named Cornelius. He and his family members earnestly sought the Lord and the Lord blessed them spiritually. Perhaps, you may be blessed with all the material blessings yet wonder, "Lord I would like to serve you like the family of Joshua" Ask this of the Lord and surely He will bless you according to your heart's desire. The Lord who blessed Cornelius and his household would definitely bless you and your family.

In Acts 16:14-15, we read about an ordinary woman whose heart was opened by the Lord even as she listened to the words spoken by the apostle Paul and the other apostles. Not only she but also her whole family tasted the love of God. In the same way, the Lord will bless you and your family.

Prayer

Loving Lord,

I praise and thank You for delighting in me. Give me the grace to cast all my burdens upon You. Help me to love and trust You in all circumstances. Bless me in the same way as You blessed the family of Joshua and Cornelius.

In Jesus' name I pray.

Amen
