In my school days, my mom used to direct the barber who cut my hair to cut it as short as possible. She would see to it that none of them is longer than an inch. Her concern was that her son should not sweat and get cold. All my friends would make fun of my hair cut. Over and above that, my mother would pour a lot of coconut oil on my head to keep my head cool. Though I did not like it, I realised that whatever she did was only for my welfare, so that I can score good marks and excel in life, and I obeyed.
You must sow 'obedience' in your life. Obey your parents and teachers. Once you practice this in life, it will become a channel of blessings to you all along your life. God will bless you. God's blessings will come upon you through your parents. Simply do all that your parents want you to do.
The Bible says, "Honour your father and your mother, as the Lord your God has commanded you, that your days may be long." (Deuteronomy 5:16)
My dear young friend, the Lord desires to give you a hundredfold blessing. For that, what He expects from you is obedience to elders.
If you are worried saying, "I don't have good parents"; "My parents are of no support to me"; or "I don't have parents," do not lament, my dear friend. The Lord will be your Father and Mother and He will guide you in your ways (Psalms 27:4). Obey Him through which you would be fulfilling His commandment to obey parents. You can sow obedience in your life and receive hundred times reward.

Loving Lord,
I praise and thank You for setting an example to lead a obedient life through Your Son Jesus Christ. Give me the grace to be obedient to my parents always from this day onwards. Forgive the days in the past wherein I have failed to honour and obey them. Cleanse me with Your blood and renew a right spirit within me. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
