Perfect StrengthSpeaker: Dr. D.G.S. Dhinakaran Gist: Our Lord Jesus Christ will strengthen your Spirit, Soul and Body. You should wait patiently at His presence to be filled with His divine strength. He will surely strengthen you His divine power. When the marrow in the bones becomes less, we become weak and if it is holistic in the bones, we grow strong. In the same way, when the power (marrow) is reduced in our spiritual life, we become depressed in soul. But we can ‘be strengthened with might through His Spirit in the inner man’ (Ephesians 3:16).
Dear friend, our Lord promises to strengthen your bones. He will fill your bones with sufficient fat-like marrow-which adds an extra dimension of strength to the bones.
In the Bible we read in 2 Kings 13:21 about the power that was in the body of Elisha that raised a dead man alive. A year after the death of Prophet Elisha, "So it was, as they were burying a man, that suddenly they spied a band of raiders; and they put the man in the tomb of Elisha; and when the man was let down and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived and stood on his feet" (2 Kings 13:21). God’s power in Elisha’s bones raised the dead to life.
St. Paul, with a thorn in his flesh, pleaded with God for his weakness to be rid of, three times. God’s answer was, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:8,9). Yes, God infused His power and grace into the weakened bones of St. Paul and glorified him, despite an ‘unknown’ deformity.
Every time, before I proceed to the ‘Jesus Calls’ Good News Meetings, I fast for several days; my already weakened body would be debilitated further. Yet I would be crying out to the Lord until the Holy Spirit will come into me with all His Omnipotence and Magnificence, fructifying our Lord’s promise, ‘I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live” (Ezekiel 37:14). He will make my Spirit, Soul and Body (bones) filled with the marrow of His glorious power. His life will rush into me and fill me. I will go to the Meeting with a new strength. During the time of the message and prayer, the presence of Jesus will overcome me exceedingly abundantly. Through me the power of the Holy Spirit will pierce through the thronging multitude.
My dear friend, Christ’s presence, grace and power make our bones (Spirit, Soul and Body) strengthened with the wholesome marrow. So, let us kneel down in His presence to receive this unique power. He will strengthen our bones. He divine power through us.
"Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live” (Ezekiel 37:5).
Prayer:
Loving Heavenly Father,
Give me Your power and life. I will not leave You until You fill me with Your Presence. Strengthen my weak bones with the powerful marrow. Graciously, grant me Your power and life. Strengthen my weak bones with the powerful marrow. Let Your mighty power fill others through me. Let Your matchless name alone be glorified and magnified forever. In Jesus' matchless name, I pray.
