No more Bondage Speaker: Sis. Stella Dhinakaran Gist: The temptations and ties of the devil may persist in your lives. Irremediable diseases may tie you up to your bed. Courageously go forward clinging to the feet of Lord Jesus. "There was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, 'Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.' And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God." (Luke 13:11)
"For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart." (1 Samuel 16:7; 1 John 3:20; Jeremiah 17:10)
"And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart."
(Jeremiah 29:13)
Friend, the Lord Jesus was extremely happy to see that the woman tied down in her body sought Him with all her heart truly. Understanding her inner desire, her suffering and her bondage, He called her and said, "Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity." Saying so, He laid His hands on her and freed her from her physical inability. She raised herself up and glorified God.
A loving sister was living a devout and happy life in association with many children of God. this sister was afflicted with physical disabilities; on a sudden, her limbs began to shrink in size. In a few days, she was confined to bed, unable to get up and walk. Despite her tribulations, she held on to God as staunchly as the devout Job who professed. "Though He slay me, yet I will trust Him..." (Job 13:15).
One day, God spoke to her, "My daughter, as you may read in 2 Corinthians 8:8, I am testing the sincerity of your love. You are faithful to me even in this straitened situation. Your love for Me has no bounds. So, I will bless you." He also indicated to her the exact day and time she would be healed. She was delighted. In exultation, she called her Pastor and passed on this information to him. The surprised Pastor assured her that he would be with her on that day. On that day, of anticipation, the pastor came along with some brothers a little before the specified time and started praying as a group. The stipulated time chimed in. The sister, who was also praying along with the Pastor, gradually received a sensation of being freed from the bonds of disease and her whole body was endowed with normal original strength. It was an astounding miracle. She jumped up in joy and glorified God. To this day, she has been gratefully praising the Lord. What a great joy!
Dear friend. in your lives too, the temptations and ties of the devil may persist. Irremediable diseases may tie you up to your bed. But go forward clinging to the feet of Jesus. The Lord of miracles will cut off all ties and cause His glorious light to shine on you.
Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
You are the Lord who is ever filled with love and compassion. You are the Deliverer who graciously liberates all those who are in bondage. Lord, deliver me from all the bondages that are found in my life. Make Your glorious light shine in me. Straighten all the crooked path that are found in my life and make my life to bloom. I make this humble prayer through the sweet name of Jesus, my Lord.
