To Save Is God's WillSpeaker: Sis. Stella Dhinakaran Gist: It is the Lord's will that you and your family should walk in the way according to God and be saved. You are special in the eyes of the Lord. Accept as family that God is your father and Saviour. He will give you the right to become his child. He, Himself, became the curse for us to redeem us (Galatians 3:13); He was scourged and bruised only to liberate us from servility and sin. That is why He said, 'Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish" (Matthew 18:14). It is God's will that everyone, every family should be saved and should act according to our heavenly Father's will.
"Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10:13)
When the Apostle Paul was preaching to the women who had gathered to pray near the riverside outside the city of Phillippi, the Lord opened the heart of Lydia to heed the things spoken by Paul (Acts 16:14,15). She and her household were baptized; she received the experience of Salvation.
In the Town of Caesarea the highly placed Cornelius, the Centurion of the Italian Regiment feared God and prayed to God always. God sent His man, Peter to Cornelius, a non-Jew to open the door of Salvation. The Lord thus paved the way for the Centurion and his family to get their spiritual eyes opened, to enjoy the higher experiences (and the Holy Spirit) and to receive the gift of salvation. Through this family, God opened the floodgates of Salvation to the whole Gentile world.
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household." (Acts 16:31)
In my sixteenth age, Lord Jesus, came, searching for me. Without my own volition, I began to love Him. Many years have passed by, since that time; till today, the limitless love of mine for Him, has not diminished, a wee bit! I constantly prayed (along with Brother Dhinakaran); "O, Lord, save all members of my family." It is quite surprising to recollect how He has been pulling into His fold of salvation every member of my family.
Today, are you vexed because a member of your family, your husband or your child or your wife or any other has not experienced Salvation? Look upon God steadfastly and believe; then you and your household will be saved?
Prayer:
Loving Heavenly Father,
Deliver me from my sorrows, depressions, the trials and tribulations caused by my enemies and fill my life with Your divine peace and joy. I believe with all my heart that when my enemies come like a flood, You, my Lord will lift up a standard against them. Protect me and guide me. In Jesus' mighty name, I pray.
