Jesus offered Himself as a living sacrifice so that you may become holy and your life should be filled with joy. "God is love" (1 John 4: 8,16)
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)
God revealed His unique love to a poor, ordinary person like us called Mary. He sent Archangel, Gabriel who declared to Mary, "Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women! Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. " (Luke 1:28,30)
My dear friend, God exhibits His love to everyone who seeks Him. We come to know this truth from the Bible; "The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth" (Psalms 145:18). Are you languishing without receiving such blessings, vexed by the heavy burden, do not worry. The Lord says, "I drew them with gentle cords, with bands of love, and I was to them as those who take the yoke from their neck. I stooped and fed them" (Hosea 11:4). True to this verse, God wants to draw towards Him, with His cords of love, any one who is moving away from Him, burdened by anxieties and worldly cares. You will receive the presence of God in your life like Mary. Consider David's experience! He professes: "I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved" (Psalms 16:8).
Though David was a powerful king, did he not keep the Lord always near him? Don't you want to share the experience of King David? God wishes to abide with you too. If you search for Him sincerely, you can find Him. This is the key-note advice given by David and Abraham to their children, "As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the Lord searches all hearts and understands all the intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if you forsake Him, He will cast you off forever." (1 Chronicles 28:9)
"For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him." (Genesis 18:19)
My friend, God wishes to give you this experience even today. Rich or poor, whatever your situation may be, God wants to give His blessings of love to all who seek Him intently. The deceptive words of love of the people of this world may deceive you; do not be duped by taking them at their face value. But 'the Word of God is living and powerful' (Hebrews 4:12). His words 'are spirit and they are life' (John 6:63). His words never change. Remember now your Creator in the days of your youth and cling to His words of genuine love. As a result, you will yield fruits for Him.
A poor woman, not much educated, discovered the true love of Christ. Confessing her sins to Him, she begged for forgiveness. Her heart was filled with His holy love. Jesus cleansed her stained-heart with His precious blood that He shed on the cross. She was not satisfied with just that. She was worried about her family members not receiving what she had obtained. "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household" (Acts 16:31). Holding on to this promise solidly, she fasted and prayed with tears and great burden for their redemption and change. God graciously and wonderfully poured His divine love into the hearts of the family members too. What a great joy in the whole family. Problems arising out of idle talk, rifts, stubborn standpoints, all these fled and vanished. That home became a temple of God.
My dear friend, your heart might have been confused by many unpleasant issues. Your mind might have been vexed by tricky problems. But never forget that our Lord Jesus was born in this world as a baby to submit Himself to the cross for you. God's love will mould a great transformation in you. However dark - stained your sins are, the blood which He shed on the Cross will cleanse your sins and make you a new creation. With this sole purpose, God, the Father gave His only Son to be crucified on the bitter cross.
Lord Jesus, too fulfilled God's will and carried all your tribulations in His own body and offered Himself as a living sacrifice so that you may become holy and your life be filled with joy. Rejoice, therefore, in these days, receive the blessings inherited by the poor woman.

Loving Lord Jesus,
I praise and thank You for Your love that You showed on the cross for my sins. I believe all the problems, pains and tribulations that I undergo now are not new to You. You have experienced all of them on Your own body and mind. But I also believe that You are the same unchanging Jesus who has power over everything. So, my Master, I plead You to relieve me from all my problems and help me lead a peaceful and blessed life. Bless me in such a way that I may stand as a witness to Your name. Enable me to live a life according to Your will. I give all praise and honour to You.
