God Will Prove His Presence To YouSpeaker: Dr. Paul Dhinakaran Gist: When we begin a work, we tend to depend on our ability, experience, time, money and manpower. When we surrender ourselves into God's hand to be used as His instruments according to His will, we can win greater victories. When I was just twenty years old, Jesus Calls Good News Meeting had been arranged in a town called Virudhunagar. My father was then a top executive in the State Bank of India. All of a sudden, he was asked to be in charge of an important seminar arranged by his bank and it was to be on the same day when the first Good News Meeting was to be held. My father was in a great fix. My mother put an hint to my father to send me for the Good News Meeting. When my father sought the Lord's guidance, the Lord Jesus said to him, "Why are you so dismayed? Send your son Paul to address the Good News Meeting. I shall be with him." Totally inexperienced was I, and the organizers were much upset. As I walked up to the dais, they were all visibly worried. They must have said to themselves, "What can this youngster speak? Thousands of eager participants are going to be disappointed on seeing his face." But there was an unshakeable confidence within me. I had the confidence that the Lord Jesus who had asked me to speak at the Good News Meeting would prove His mighty presence. I did not mind the least what people might think. I began my message in a very simple manner. The Holy Spirit descended on me. He touched thousands of souls. During the prayer time, when I issued the call, "All those who want to be released from sinful habits and practices, submit yourselves to the Lord now," thousands of people stood up and came running to the dais accepting the call. The Lord wiped away their tears and performed wonderful miracles.
Dear friend, perhaps you may not have any deep spiritual experience or you may not be in the habit of sharing the Word of God with others. Remember that it is not you but Lord God who speaks from within you. He will perform miracles and grant the power and grace to you. All you have to do is to stand as a living witness for Him without any fear or shame. He will make this world recognise you. He will then prove His presence with you.
John Wesley, a remarkable man of God, was slighted by the leaders of his days. But wherever he went to preach, the poor and meek gathered in thousands to hear him. The Press reporters who saw that, went to him and asked, "What was the secret which made such huge crowds come seeking you?" He told the reporters, "Everyday, John Wesley sets himself on fire. People from all corners throng to see him burn in flames."
The Lord desires to make you also a pillar of fire. The Holy Spirit says, "My dear child, you cannot burn by yourself. I shall come within you and set you ablaze." Let not your heart be troubled! No one shall be able to defy you all the days of your life!
In my personal life too, the Lord has been proving His presence with me. When I strayed far away from God, I failed in all subjects in my B.Sc. degree examinations. My life was becoming a waste. When the Holy Spirit came within me through the training in the Power Ministry, He began to teach me all my lessons. When I took my books in my hand, He sat beside me, explained whatever I did not understand and made the lessons get into my mind. I passed out with much credit. After that, the Lord opened the door for me to do my M.B.A. course. Many young men would come and ask me, "Brother, you travel so widely to various parts of the world to do the Lord's ministry. How do you find time to study?" It was true that I could not study and pass by my own effort. But because the Almighty God is with me, even though I spent only a few hours every week for my studies, He taught me everything that I needed to learn and helped me to pass the M.B.A. degree examination with credit. He opened the door again for my Ph.d. programme. There were problems in pursuing it in the University. But the Lord said, "I shall help you to get your doctorate." He did fulfill His promise. He enabled me to annex degree after degree and proved His presence with me. All these attainments of mine are entirely due to His grace.
Dear friend, when you invite the Lord to your rescue, the Lord will bless you not only in your ministry, but also in your individual life. He will exalt you and will make you shine forth for Jesus like the stars in the sky. The Lord who blessed and exalted me will surely bless and exalt you as well!

Loving Heavenly Father,
I lack wisdom. Fill me with Your divine knowledge and wisdom. Help to do my duties perfectly. Teach me to take the right decisions in my daily life. Fill me with the fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit. Help me to listen to his voice and obey accordingly. Make me worthy to stand before You and serve You. I give You all the glory. In Jesus' mighty name, I ask.
