God is Ever-Mindful of YouSpeaker: Dr. Paul Dhinakaran Gist: When disease strikes our bodies, we seek all sorts of remedies. If we are not cured, we come to a conclusion that it is our fate. We whine in pain and anguish and battle ourselves. But Jesus is waiting to meet all our needs. "When the sun was setting, all those who had any that were sick with various diseases brought them to Him; and He laid His hands on every one of them and healed them" (Luke 4:40; Mark 1:32 & 34). "Jesus healed those who had need of healing." (Luke 9:11)
When Jesus left the city of Jericho, a great multitude followed Him. A blind man, Bartimaeus sat by the road begging heard that Jesus of Nazareth was coming, he began to cry out, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me." Jesus stood still. Out of compassion for him He called Bartimaeus and asked him, "What do you want Me to do for you?" The blind man replied, "Rabboni, that I may receive my sight." Jesus said to Him, "Go your way, your faith has made you well." Just a word from Jesus opened the eyes of blind Bartimaeus. Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus (Mark 10:46-52).
Dear friend, Jesus is anxious to heal you of any disease, however severe it may be. Doctors may examine you and say, "You have come to the last stages of your life. Any cure for you is very remote! But remember you still have a hope! The Holy Bible says, "For surely there is a hereafter and your hope will not be cut off" (Proverbs 23:18). The Lord who gave Bartimaeus his sight is alive even today. He who promised is faithful in fulfilling the promise. Today, His promise to you is, "If you believe you would see the glory fo God." All you have to do is just believe Him with whom all things are possible.
Jesus was wounded for our transgressions and was bruised for our iniquities. He bore all our iniquities and carried our sorrows. His hands and legs were pierced with nails and a crown of thorns was claped on His forehead. Blood gushed out and closed His eyes. His beloved disciples forsook Him and fled. There was none left to love Him. Broken-hearted, He hung on the cross lonely and desolate. Many abused Him, saying, "He saved others, Himself He cannot save." He bore it all so patiently to secure our release. "The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). Jesus submitted Himself as a sacrifical offering on the cross, today we can bodly approach His throne of grace and receive His miracles. The Bible says, "The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin." (1 John 1:7)
Sometimes when disease strikes our body, we seek all sorts of remedies. If we are not cured, we come to a conclusion that it is our fate. We pine in pain and anguish and battle ourselves. But Jesus is just waiting to meet all our needs.
The following testimony given by a sister with great ecstasy, at a 'Jesus Calls' Good news metting held at Kakinada, surprised me very much. It goes like this: "I was the victim of a dreadful disease for very long. My blood pressure shot up and caused me a splitting headache. Doctors who examined me said that because of some problem in the bladder, blood pressure was rising so high. They prescribed so many drugs, but I had no relief. With great faith I participated in the meeting. On that day Bro. Paul Dhinakaran delivered God's message and began praying. With the power of God he mentioned several diseases and prayed for those suffering from them. Just as I was in great anguish whether he would skip my ailment, he said that he was going to pray for all those suffering from problems in the kidney. I prayed earnestly in tears for release from my problem. Suddenly, the power of God descended on me and spread all over my body. I received my healing at once. The next day, I went to the doctor for a check up. He said that I had been completely healed of the disease in the kidney." The tens of thousands on the ground clapped their hands and praised the Lord with great jubliation.
My dear friends, draw near Jesus to receive from His hand His miraculous healing and manifold blessing! He is ready to heal you and to shower His blessings through wonders and miracles in your life. As the Psalmist says, He is the Defender of the poor and fatherless, and He is there to do justice to the afflicted and needy. "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." (Hebrews 4:16)
Jesus desires to wash you clean. Will you commit your life entirely in His hands? He loves you. He is mindful of you. He desires to meet all your needs. He wants to heal your diseased body. By His stripes you will surely be healed. Implore Him like the repentant thief on the cross and blind Bartimaeus. Jesus will come down in all His glory, saying,"My child, I love you! I am ever mindful of you." He will provide all your needs, grant you His miraculous health. Releasing you from all oppressions, He will make you rejoice. The Lord is ever mindful of you! ing Heavenly Father,
Prayer:
Loving Heavenly Father,
You sacrificed Your only Son Jesus on the Cross for my sicknesses and sins. I believe in the power of the blood of Jesus and claim healing for all the sicknesses and problems that are tormenting me till now. You are my Defender. You are my Father. Show me mercy and grace and help me in times of need. I priase You for being ever mindful of me. In Jesus' mighty name, I pray.
Amen. |
