God's Miracles Are For YouSpeaker: Sis. Stella Dhinakaran Gist: When you submit your life to the will of God and obey Him, you may have to tread on thorny trails at times. But He will perform His miracles for you even when you have to pass through hardships in life. "There are also many other things that Jesus did, which if they were written one by one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. Amen." (John 21:25)
We read of several miracles that Christ performed during His stay on this earth.
It is quite natural to expect marvels and miracles from the Lord God Almighty. But when one expects such wonders, they do not consider the time they spend at the presence of God to receive miracles. We do not even take note of how long we watch and pray in His presence and have fellowship with the Lord.
But when we look at Lord Jesus, for every matter, He looked up to God's face and lived scrupulously according to it. This is the way that pleases God; not going our own way. We need to commit ourselves totally to the will of God.
Even at the time when He had to offer Himself as a sacrifice on the cross, the Lord Jesus prayed in great dismay, "But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father's kingdom" (Matthew 26:29). Even at that crucial moment, when He realised that it was God's will that He should offer Himself as sacrifice on the cross, He yielded Himself entirely to His Father's will. As a result of His obedience, the Lord made Him a blessed means for people of all nations to obtain release from their sins and to live righteous lives.
Dear friend, when you submit your life to the will of God and obey Him, you may have to tread on thorny trails at times. You cannot expect your life to be sunshine and showers all the time. Yet, when you live always in obedience to His will, He will perform His miracles for you even when you have to pass through hardships in life. He will cause unexpected blessings to crop up and cheer your way.
In my own life, I have received several miracles from God's hands. He is also using me as a means of obtaining miracles from Him for others for their lives. At the same time, He has been taking me through severe trails. I had to pass through the pitiful plight of offering my 17 year old beloved daughter. It happened in accordance with God's will. My agony was bitter! Amidst trials and tears, pains and perils, I held fast to God. Kneeling beside my daughter's corpse for a whole night, I poured out my tears to God in prayer. Filled with His Spirit, I held fast to His promises, fondly imploring the Lord to restore my daughter back to life. At day break, I realised that it was not God's will and meekly submitted myself. As days passed by, I happened to see several mothers like me who had lost their children and living in distress. The Lord has been giving me the grace on all such occasions to tell them of the comfort which God gave me, assuring them that He would grant them the same comfort, peace and joy. Great is my joy seeing them receive God's comfort and return to His care and provision. The Lord's will is always good.
Dear friend, our Lord cares for you and me more than you and I can do for ourselves. However hard be the road, God will make His miracles break forth. You will surely see them!

Loving God of miracles,
Everyday I go tired of the trials and tribulations that keep coming my way. Keep me away from all the wordly cares and worries; bless me with Your miracles. Help me to yield to Your will always and see witness Your miracles. I make this prayer in the glorious name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.
