He will bless you and give you a life filled with the Holy Spirit and remove all voidness from your life. You will find rest for your souls. One day, while Peter and John went together to the temple, a certain man, lame from birth, was carried and placed at the gate of the temple. On seeing Peter and John, he asked for alms. Peter said to him, "In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk" (Acts 3:6). He then lifted him up with his right hand. Immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. He leaped rejoicing and praising God.
My dear friend, when the Spirit of God came into Peter, the gift of faith followed. Filled with faith, he was transformed. That is why he could boldly proclaim the name of Jesus, and he confessed, "And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all" (Acts 3:16).
As Peter was speaking, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who heard the Word. After Jesus ascended to heaven, He enriched Peter with spiritual gifts. According to His gracious promise, "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father" (John 14:12). Even as Peter was speaking, the Holy Spirit descended. Peter received a ministry even more exalted than that of Jesus Himself (Acts 10).
"They brought the sick out into the streets and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might fall on some of them. Also a multitude gathered from the surrounding cities to Jerusalem, bringing sick people and those who were tormented by unclean spirits, and they were all healed." (Acts 5:15, 16)
See how the Spirit of the Lord and His gifts have transformed Peter! Pray to the Lord and ask, "Lord, fill me with Your Spirit and the gifts of Your power. I want the gift of faith, the gift of performing miracles for the people around me." Then your life and your ministry will be transformed. You will become transfigured like Jesus.
In Dubai, when I was speaking in a prayer meeting one night, a ceratain young man was present among the audience. He had come with great pain. During the time of prayer I called out, "Now the heaven is wide open. A beam of light from God is coming down from heaven and shines on everyone. Now the Lord is performing His miracles." At the same time this young man's eyes were opened. He saw a ray of light beaming from heaven. Suddenly, in that light Jesus appeared to him. He saw Jesus lay His hand upon him and then pass through the multitude, laying His hand upon each one of them. The joy of the Holy Spirit filled him and his life changed entirely.
I can recall hundreds of such miracles which the Lord has performed in the ministry of 'Jesus Calls'. The Lord desires to transform your life in this manner. The Lord wants to grant you His Holy Spirit and divine gifts and work through your life. Let not your heart be troubled. Commit your life wholly in His hand. He will bless you.

Loving Heavenly Father,
Help me to see myself as You see me, that is as Your child and a jont heir with Your Son Jesus Christ. Father, I now know the difference between a life full of the Holy Spirit and a life without spirit. Grant me Your anointing and fill me with all the spiritual gifts. Quench my spiritual thirst today, Lord. In Christ's Name, I pray.
